  • Innovation support strategy - Delivering the Intellectual Property component a local level. Identification and evaluation of the participating countries innovation strategies with special regard to the Intellectual Property level and enforcement practices of SMEs. Analysing existing Services in the 20 participating countries and recommends new awareness-raising and enforcement related services.

  • Bridging the gap – Matching supply of services to demand from SMEs. Identification of gaps between the support services supplied to SMEs on Intellectual Property rights and the demand in an European context.

  • InnovAccess is a trans-national website specially adapted for SMEs including:

    • A general area on IP matters

    • A country specific area on IP matters

    • An area for enforcement issues

    • An area with practical guides

  • A web based toolbox has been set up according to the needs of SMEs. It contains manuals, instruments and training material on IP issues, including enforcement. There are currently over 50 tools available in the Toolbox. By determine the actual knowledge level of SMEs, the national patent and trademark office can pick a tool from the toolbox that will support the provision of a service aiming at improving the ability to protect, manage or enforce their intellectual property rights.
